First it was the stockings.... the kids were thrilled with their treasures. In mine was a Twilight book, we are all into that series!
Next was the opening of Aunt Sheila and Unlce Jim's gifts~since we couldn't open them 'till Christmas!
Aren't you so proud of us! We loved all our gifts...thanks so much!
Blake just loves his old~man hats!
Our friend Jeff came over for Christmas dinner bearing gifts! Redwing hockey shirts for the guys, gift certificate for Lauren and Coffee Fool coffee for me, it is the best!
We made some YUMMY Cinnamon rolls for breakfast and I got to stay in my PJs all day! The ham was the best I think I have ever eaten in my entire life. It was spiral sliced and came with this ewwy~ gooey glaze that was kinda crispy~ crunchy.
We were so blessed this Christmas by phone calls from family and some that we haven't heard from in years. On Christmas Eve we read the story of Jesus' birth and the day before Christmas Eve we watched the Nativity movie. SO good! It really put us in the right frame of mind for Christmas.

Yes- we're SO proud of you!! Wasn't it fun to wait?!
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Yes,it was fun to wait. The kids had a hard time though. We always have had a "drawn out" Christmas season by opening gifts as they come then opening our immediate family gifts on Christmas day. When the kids were little they seemed to enjoy the gifts more that way than the overload they got on Christmas. However, we knew it was important to you so we wanted to honor your request! :)
