Moving and Parades

So....after Willow Creek, we moved in, and after that Josh's mother came and is still here..staying for a month! We have just been going , going , going. Was looking forward to rest this summer, but so far that hasn't happened. We are so glad to finally be in a home that we love. We are hoping to stay here and plant roots...if it is God's will of course. We had so much wonderful help from our friends and are truly grateful.

Josh's Mom has been helping us with painting and choosing the right colors. I don't want any dark colors because it is often overcast here and I need as much light as I can get. We chose a pretty peachy color called haystack for the kitchen, sage for the living room, a pale yellow for the laundry and bath, and a light lilac color for the bathroom upstairs. SO much to paint, but it is a start.

Our town had a parade one weekend and Marquette had one the next. We were able to sit and watch this time. It was nice...except for Josh. He was George Washington!

Well that was our June and July. Happy fourth!
